چکیده
The process of joining aluminum metal requires a special welding method. use GTAW is suitable method for plates. This research intended to analyze the tensile strength and microstructure Aluminum 6061 with various currents. used in this experimental research. Welding current variations study were 100A, 115A, 130A, then tested using destructive test, test. data analysis descriptive analysis, where obtained are averaged described concluded. results on show that changes very visible HAZ area weld metal, greater heat input, more spread Mg2Si grains will be. Good structural dispersion only occurs at 130A current. different from base which does not change material structure all. Based stress value 80.9 MPa 100 A current, 84.9 115A variation, highest 86.7 So, it can be concluded higher used, better produced.

Welding Aluminum Alloy 6061 with Opposing Dual Torch Gtaw Process
Cracking is a major concern in welding aluminum alloys. Although weld solidification cracks can be eliminated through addition of filler alloy, the additives modify the alloy or base-metal constituents and may not always be desirable. High-energy beam processes, such as electron-beam welding, that result in minimal heat input reduce crack sensitivity, but their high cost limits their applicatio...

متن کاملImproved Microstructure and Properties of 6061 Aluminum Alloy Weldments Using a Double-Sided Arc Welding Process
Due to its popularity and high crack sensitivity, 6061 aluminum alloy was selected as a test material for the newly developed double-sided arc welding (DSAW) process. The microstructure, crack sensitivity, and porosity of DSAW weldments were studied systematically. The percentage of fine equiaxed grains in the fully penetrated welds is greatly increased. Residual stresses are reduced. Porosity ...
متن کاملEffect of Welding Conditions of Spot Welded Zone on the Tensile Strength about Aluminum Alloy (A6061)
It is considered to be available in reducing the weight of automobiles that the aluminum alloy is applied to manufacture them. The spot welding of aluminum alloys is difficult because of high welding current and small electrical resistance. It is necessary to clarify the relation between the nugget formation and the welding conditions. In this study, the relation between the spot welding condit...
